The United States Navy Master Diver is the highest warfare qualification obtainable by
a member of the Navy diving community. A Master Diver is an enlisted person who typically has the most experience on all aspects of diving and underwater salvage. Hard Hat Winery has selected the Master Diver as the upper level of our dive team.
Master Diver's will receive 20% discount on all wines online and in our Tasting rooms.
Tastings of 4 varietals are included for you and 2 guests per visit.
2 releases of one case per year, selected by Hard Hat Winery.
First Class Diver
First Class Divers use underwater demolitions for cutting, pushing, and freeing submerged objects. They operate and maintain submarine rescue chambers, and ensure the proper logs and reports are maintained and submitted as required. They are proficient in the operation of Navy approved underwater breathing equipment, support systems, and recompression chambers as well as in the diagnosis and treatment of diving injuries and illnesses, particularly those requiring recompression therapy. They also maintain, test, repair, and adjust diving equipment; assist in planning diving operations. They are qualified to dive using surface supplied mixed gas (HEO2) and all approved air diving apparatus. They perform salvage and rescue operations using underwater tools and supervise diving operations as designated by the Commanding Officer. First Class diver qualifications are maintained to a depth of 300 feet of sea water.

Second Class Diver
Entry level into the Navy Surface Supplied Diving Program is the Second Class Diver. These new divers perform jobs such as applying patches, cleaning ships hull and propellers, and underwater cutting and welding. They test, repair, and adjust all diving equipment and dress and tend divers. They know the laws of diving physics and able to recognize symptoms of decompression sickness and diving accidents, and are able to assist in their treatment. They also perform underwater work such as taking measurements, making templates and fittings, placing shores, pouring cement, using excavating nozzles, and removing and repairing ships' appendages. As a second Class Diver you are qualified to a depth of 190 feet of sea water.

Cost: There is no Fees to join and no annual member fees. We will send you an email approximately one week prior to the billing date with the details of the wines being sent, and approximate shipping date. If you need to adjust any details, or would like to pre-order additional bottles, simply reply by the deadline indicated. Your credit card will be charged the discounted price. Wine is then shipped to the address you provide or held at the winery for pick up. To cancel membership, simply provide HHW with written notification 30 days prior to your next delivery.
Shipping Information: All orders can be shipped via FedEx or UPS - Not Included. Wines may only be ordered and received by adults 21 years of age or older. An adult signature is required on delivery of all wine shipments.
