About the Event

Thursday nights 6:00 - 8:00PM ~ Competitive Trivia with Great Wine.   Get your team of up to 5 people together and come test your knowledge against others. $5 per person - Top 3 teams split the pot. LIMITED SEATS ~ Call to reserve your spot ~ 470-5682 * You're welcome to bring food Trivia Night Rules 1. Teams of up to 5, $5 per player entrance fee. 2. There will be up to 6 rounds of 10 questions each. There will be a break after 3 rounds to taste wine and tabulate the scores at that time, and the ranking of teams will be announced. 3. Each team will have one answer sheet for each round and can decide amongst themselves the single answer they wish to submit for each question. Other than where multiple answers are specifically requested, submitting multiple answers will invalidate the response to the question. There is no partial credit for single answers. 4. Each question will be read twice with a pause between each reading and a short pause after. At the end of the round, there will be a pause where any team can request the re-reading of questions. 5. At the end of each round, one person from each team will bring the team’s answer sheet up to the quizmaster. At this point, the team’s answers are final. 6. Each correct answer will earn one point for the team. BONUS questions up the ante: answering a bonus question correctly will score TWO points, answering a bonus question incorrectly will LOSE one point. Leaving it blank results in neither points nor penalty. 7. In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, a tiebreaker will be held. For the tiebreaker, each tied team will select a category from the rounds played. If one team gets it right and the other wrong, the correct team is the winner and gains a point. Otherwise, the quizmaster will select a category and repeat the process until one team gets it right and the other wrong. 8. In addition to bragging rights, the entire pot of money from entrance fees will be distributed as follows: a. First place: 60% b. Second place: 25% c. Third place: 15% 9. Standard, common sense rules for behavior: a. Don’t shout out answers, right or wrong. b. No use of cell phones or other lookup mechanisms. c. Misspellings will be allowed, but the decision of the quizmaster on what constitutes a correct answer is final and absolute. d. Have fun and come back next time!
