“Okay Red” is a term used by surface supplied divers to identify which diver is communicating with the top side supervisor and tenders. At times there can be three divers in the water at one time, red, green and yellow. Yellow diver for the US Navy is usually the standby diver, for emergencies if needed. “Okay” plus the color of the umbilical identifies which diver is in communication with the supervisor. As an example, when the supervisor asks, “Okay Red”, the diver responds with “Okay Red”; in other words, “I am okay”. With a bold black cherry, spiced plumb and dried fig notes. The wine is well balanced, with ripe tannins and a long finish. pairs well with roasted foods like pork shoulder, roasted mushrooms and braised short ribs.

Cabernet Franc is one of the major black grape varieties worldwide. It is principally grown for blending with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the French Bordeaux style but can also be vinified alone. It finishes with mocha followed by a lingering dried herb and ripe tannins.
